Feng Shui means wind and water. It is an ancestral Chinese science aimed at optimising the flow of energy (the Qi) around us to enhance well-being.
Feng Shui aims to bring us harmony, well-being and vitality. At its core, Feng Shui is a life-giving and vitalizing force, called Qi, Orgon, Ether, etc. This is the foundation and the cornerstone of our mental and physical health. When properly applied and harmonized with our living space it introduces harmony, vitality and inner peace. It encourages us to live fully, brings optimal dynamics into the environment and fosters creativity.
This Chinese science is central to the layout of the hotel. The hotel's interior was entirely decorated under the supervision and guidance of a Feng Shui master (Xianchun Zhang) and his disciple (Chengchaï Zhang), both of whom left their native China for the first time ever to travel to Geneva. Once in Switzerland, they studied the hotel's atmosphere, its layout, and its geographical location for two weeks before advising the Manotel Group's management and Patrick Ribes the Architect on how to optimise the flow of energy.
Feng Shui principles in our hotel are applied in such way that, even in the smallest details, they remain natural and unobtrusive, yet have a powerful effect.
Our goal during your stay is to bring you comfort, calm, relaxation, satisfaction, creative power and clarity in decision making.
The garden at the Jade Hotel is a source of life and energy, a reservoir of sensations and inspiration, and a place to recharge and reconnect. It is a place charged with Zen energy and positive Qi.
